✨ Why Does LIVERTA® Exist? The Mission Behind Every Creation

From the very beginning, when I founded my eponymous brand María Pía Cornejo, my purpose was clear: to use design as a language to awaken consciousness, reconnect with what truly matters, and transform fashion into an act of art and reflection.
That mission has never changed.
Over time, my brand evolved into Liverta By María Pía Cornejo, placing a stronger emphasis on sustainability and the deeper message of freedom — not only as a human right, but as a spiritual state we can all aspire to.

Along this journey, I created the trilogy: Healing – Alma – Rebirth, a metaphor for the awakening of consciousness that I wanted to share with the world through my collections:

🌑 Healing represents the period of recovery, when we pass through the dark night of the soul and begin to release what wounds us.
🌗 Alma is the encounter with our deepest self — recognizing both our shadows and our light, and accepting who we truly are.
🌕 Rebirth symbolizes the act of being born again — stepping into a fuller, higher state of consciousness and into a better version of ourselves.

Each collection is born from questions that move me:
🌌 Who are we beyond appearances?
🌱 How can we inhabit this world in a more harmonious way?
💫 What does it truly mean to be free?

Because the truth is, the planet is a living being — and it is being destroyed day by day by humans.
This destruction goes beyond the plundering of natural resources; it is also a breakdown of society.
Human relationships have become increasingly empty. There is no more commitment, no more loyalty — everything is disposable. People seek each other for reasons that have nothing to do with what truly matters: feelings.

Where did the feelings go? What about love?
Does anyone still value the nobility that can exist in a human being?
It seems humanity has forgotten its purpose — we live as if everything is about producing, selling, and accumulating, without thinking about the consequences.
Empty relationships. Disposable everything.
We build non-stop, we buy without consciousness, we destroy without looking back.

Everything rises in price. Everything becomes more polluted.
And the only thing that seems to matter is: who has more...?
But at what cost?

Humanity has forgotten that the true purpose of being on Earth is the evolution of the soul.
We are only passing through — this planet is a school, a place where we come to refine our consciousness.
Our real home is above.
And when the time comes to leave, nothing material will go with us.
There, we will only be recognized for what we truly were — for the light we cultivated, and for the spiritual elevation we achieved.

From the distant star that inspired Earendel to the ethereal waves of Astralis Waves, each design seeks to be more than clothing: it is a symbol of hope, healing, and freedom.
In a world that feels darker and emptier each day, I’ve aimed to share thoughts and messages that remind us: yes, we can build a path toward the light, toward awareness, and toward a more human way of living.

This is the true mission of Liverta By María Pía Cornejo:
